Jessica Solberg
Director/ Physiotherapist/Clinical Pilates
Jess has worked as a qualified physiotherapist since 2007 after graduating from the University of Sydney in 2006. She has worked in various private practices across Sydney and in the United Kingdom.
Jess is experienced in treating a wide variety of sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions and postsurgical patients. Jess has a passion for learning and is continuously keeping up to date with new treatments, procedures and techniques that become available.
Jess assesses her patients holistically and uses a wide variety of treatment tools to suit the individual. These include soft tissue releases, connect therapy, muscle energy, manual therapy, exercise prescription and Pilates method.
Jess teaches Clinical Pilates here at South Sydney Physiotherapy and has had extensive experience in using the Pilates method to restore strength control and balance back to the body. Private, semi-private and small group classes are all available which can be tailored to the needs of each individual.

Lisa Rollo
Director / Sports Physiotherapist
Lisa is an experienced Physiotherapist with over 25 years in the field. She has extensive physiotherapy experience working for clients with musculoskeletal problems within the general populations and sporting sector. Lisa has managed her own Physiotherapy practice for 8 years in Mosman, is currently running an Aquatic Physiotherapy business and has worked as a Sports Physiotherapist within a variety of sports.
Her work within the sports sector includes managing players at Northern Suburbs and Sydney University Rugby Union, working and travelling with Australian Women’s Rugby League teams , working and travelling with Australia Women’s Basketball under 21 Sapphires and Australian Opals Women’s Basketball teams as well as working Souths Juniors Rugby League teams and the NSW/ACT junior development squads for AFL.
Lisa has completed her Graduate Diploma in Applied Science of Sports Physiotherapy. Lisa also has experience in post-operative orthopaedic conditions including hip replacements, knee replacements and shoulder, lumbar and cervical surgical patients both on land and through water-based programs.
She also has a very keen interest in Pilates based programs. Lisa is extremely passionate about rehabilitation and the enrichment of her client’s wellbeing.

Claire Goggin
Physiotherapist
Originally from Ireland, Claire is a qualified Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Limerick. She brings diverse experience across acute hospitals, community care, aged care and sports teams.
Claire has a particular interest in sports injuries and loves helping people move with confidence, build strength and return to doing what they enjoy. As an athlete herself, Claire has experienced the highs and challenges of injury and rehabilitation first-hand, giving her a personal understanding of the journey back to sport.
With a recently completed Personal Training qualification, Claire also incorporates exercise and strength training into her physiotherapy treatments, helping clients work towards healthier, stronger and more active lifestyles.

Victoria Pan
Physiotherapist and Polestar Pilates Instructor for Rehabilitation
Vicky has worked in Private practice and various Pilates Studios since she completed her Physiotherapy degree from The University of Melbourne 14 years ago. Following her passion as a young dancer background and outdoor activities, it has led to a keen interest in sport and dance injury management and rehabilitation.
Vicky extended her study with Polestar Pilates in 2010 to become a certified Pilates Instructor for Rehabilitation. She has worked along with leading Pilates Educators in Australia and helped rehabilitate various levels of individuals with Pilates method back to sports from injuries, pre- and post-natal, elders to promote active ageing, post surgically recoveries, neurological conditions and even children.

Vivian Baines
Physiotherapist
Vivian is passionate about seeing the client holistically and working with them to help them reach their optimum function. Experience working with complex neurological populations and multi- trauma clients has given her an appreciation for the importance of mental health and social supports with achieving the best function.
She enjoys Pilates as it is challenging and instills principles of connection and body awareness. She likes how Pilates exercises translate across all levels of ability and can be adapted for rehabilitation, injury prevention, health management and in athletic settings. She has since completed Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) Mat work levels 1-3 training.
She has been working in London for the last 6 years in Burns and Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation and has returned to be closer to family, friends and the seaside.
She likes trying new things, F1 racing, water sports, eating and travelling adventures.

Johnny Goring
Administrative staff
Johnny hails from Melbourne, he worked with South Sydney Sports Medicine since 2015, before joining our team in Maroubra. Originally from an accounts background, Johnny has enjoyed the change immensely. His favourite part of the job is liaising with patients, and you will find his cheerful nature is always willing to offer excellent service and assistance. Johnny loves all things “sport’, particularly AFL, and remains eternally loyal to his beloved Collingwood Magpies!

Joumana El Khawli
Administrative staff
Joumana started as a junior at South Sydney Sports Medicine 22 years ago.
Over the years, her duties have varied which include greeting new or current patients and processing relevant details. There is always plenty going on behind scenes and reports that she has learnt a lot. Joumana advises that her job is interesting and sometimes challenging. She has been very fortunate to work with and meet lovely people. Aside from work she likes to exercise to keep herself fit. She is also busy with her lovely husband and 2 beautiful boys. She is an asset to have at the new clinic in Maroubra.
